It had been almost three years. The anniversary of that day was only weeks away.  Each year on that day she would go to the last place where she saw  him in the hopes of catching one small glimpse of him.  Each time was the same.  No murmur, no sign, not even the slightest whisper on the wind.

Each year her family tried to talk her out of making the trip, but she never listened to any of them.  Not as long as there was hope still alive in her.   “It’s something I have to do.  He could still contact me there, and I have to be there when he does.”

This year however would be different.  She didn’t know yet, but the dream that she held close over the last three years was about to become a reality.
This is just something that I'm having a little fun with. This is in my scraps because I don't know if it's good enough to be put into my gallery.

These are the opening paragraphs of the story, and I've got more typed, I just need to figure out how I'm going to continue it.

If you think it's good, please leave a comment. I'd really love to know what people think of my attempt at writing.
